"The days are long, but the years are short." This quote rings true in many ways. Watching our children grow is an emotional and incredible experience. They are only this little for a short amount of time.

Every step, word, action and giggle are more exciting than the last. The years fly by so fast, and time doesn’t wait even if we ask it to.

The first year of our child’s life is hard but very special at the same time. It is often easy to get lost in our daily routines and miss out on those precious details that make parenthood so incredible. As parents during that first year we have many sleepless nights, many messes & spit-ups to clean and a hundred nappies to change and all this on top of our daily chores and work. That first year flies by and before we know it our little baby is now a toddler and the tiny chubby thighs are now little legs racing around the house, the gummy smiles are gone and the gibber jabber are now sentences and our little baby has lost their baby-ness.

The biggest benefit of doing a milestone photoshoot is that you will be able to freeze your baby’s baby-ness for years to come and you will have the photos to treasure forever.

Every Child is different and photos of their first year will give us the chance to see how our little ones started and where they go in life. Documenting important milestones during your child’s life is a gift for yourself and your child.

Often as mothers we take out our phones and capture our baby’s first steps, their first smile, their first words and their first everything really. But there is one thing missing…. YOU… you stay behind the camera and are almost never in these important milestones. A photoshoot with me not only captures your baby’s milestone but it also captures you and the love you have for your baby. Your baby will always be able to look back on these photos in years to come and see how much you loved and adored him/her. Including grandparents in the photoshoot is another way to preserve family memories that will be cherished for generations to come.

As a photographer, I take great joy in being able to preserve these precious moments forever.

Years from now, you'll be so grateful that you prioritised preserving these memories so that your entire family can enjoy them together.
